Eileen M. Burke, G.N.,  B.S.,  ACSM HFI, ACE CPT

 

Founder of the GET FIT Solution, and recognized throughout the South Shore as a trainer of trainers and for her leadership and hard work in the fitness industry.  Eileen is nationally certified through the American College of Sports Medicine as a health fitness instructor and the American Council of Exercise as a personal trainer with years of experience conducting fitness research and personal coaching.  She is a university lecturer - professor for the Quincy College personal fitness trainer certificate program where she educates students through Health Appraisal and Fitness Testing courses.  Ms. Burke holds a B.S. in Exercise Physiology from the University of Massachusetts in Boston, as well as a Nursing degree. 

 

Former Director of Health & Fitness at the South Shore YMCA in Quincy, Eileen is closely affiliated with leading fitness research authority, Dr. Wayne L. Westcott.  In addition, Eileen has supervised college varsity athletes with progression of strength, speed and agility training as a UMASS Boston assistant strength and conditioning coach.  She worked as an assistant field researcher for Tufts Medical Center in Boston and evaluated hundreds of middle school aged children while measuring their bone quality and muscular strength. She has assisted clients with physical disabilities, spinal cord injuries, and visual impairments through specialized strength training and cardiovascular exercise curriculums. Eileen especially enjoys spending time with seniors and older adults where she can share her medical/nursing wisdom and knowledge to create unique health/fitness programs.

Aimee Bates, Exec. Director of Sales & Marketing

From the age of 2 Aimee has been involved with theatrical dance. For over 10 years she worked with instructors in ballet. Struggling with weight all her life, she's been involved in learning about the Health & Fitness industry since she was a teenager. After working in the mutual fund industry for 7 years and attending University of Mass. for anthropology, she decided to follow her passion in the fitness arena. Then focusing on learning all she could from free weights, cardio kick-boxing, body sculpting, and yoga she began teaching group exercise over 1 1/2 years ago. Aimee is proficient in yoga instruction, sports specific training, group bootcamps, bellydancing, and most recently received certification in Forza training from a Japanese sword master.
